BioTestMe ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website BioTestMe.com, purchase our services, or interact with us in any way.
By using our services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our services.
When you purchase our services, create an account, or contact us, we may collect: your name, email address, phone number, mailing address (for shipping test kits and receiving samples), billing information and payment details (processed securely through our payment processor), and any information you voluntarily provide during consultations or communications with us.
To provide our Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) services, we collect: hair samples submitted for laboratory analysis, health questionnaire responses, symptoms and health history you share during consultations, and test results and analysis reports.
BioTestMe HTMA testing does NOT collect, analyze, or store any DNA. Our laboratory partner, Analytical Research Labs, uses ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) technology, which measures only mineral and metal concentrations. During the testing process, hair samples are completely dissolved in acid, destroying all biological material including any DNA. After testing, all dissolved samples are disposed of according to laboratory protocols. The laboratory is a specialized mineral testing facility only and does not have DNA testing capabilities. No biological material is ever stored or preserved.
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect: device information (browser type, operating system), IP address and general location data, pages visited and time spent on our site, referring website addresses, and cookies and similar tracking technologies.
We use the information we collect to: process and fulfill your orders, provide HTMA testing and analysis services, deliver personalized health protocols and recommendations, communicate with you about your results, appointments, and services, send administrative information such as order confirmations and service updates, respond to your inquiries and provide customer support, improve our website, services, and customer experience, send marketing communications (with your consent), and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share your information with:

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
If BioTestMe is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
