Why BioTestMe Was Created
BioTestMe was founded after years of searching for deeper answers about personal health.
Like many people trying to understand what was happening with their bodies, BioTestMe founder Terry Dell went through traditional testing and doctor visits only to repeatedly hear the same response:
"Everything looks normal."
But the symptoms were still there.
Eventually, Terry was introduced to functional health testing through his wife, Dr. Mandy, DCN, a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition who regularly works with advanced laboratory testing to help identify underlying biochemical imbalances in her patients.
Through her work, Terry began learning about tools such as Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) and other functional lab tests designed to reveal deeper patterns within the body.
For the first time, the information from these tests started connecting the dots between symptoms and potential root-cause imbalances, including mineral deficiencies, metabolic patterns, and nutritional stress that traditional labs often overlook.
A Personal Perspective
Watching this process unfold had a profound impact on me.
Over the years, I witnessed hundreds of Dr. Mandy's patients begin improving their health after discovering the root causes behind their symptoms through functional lab testing.
Once those underlying imbalances were identified, many of those patients were able to support their bodies through personalized nutrition and targeted lifestyle changes, helping them restore balance and alleviate symptoms that had previously gone unexplained.
Seeing this process happen again and again made something very clear to me: The information from these tests was incredibly powerful.
