Your hair should be clean, dry, and free of styling products before collecting your sample.

Make sure the following is ready before collecting your sample:

Clean scissors
Your BioTestMe sample envelope
The provided hair scale
Your return mailer

Collect Your Hair Sample in 4 Easy Steps

Step 1:

Wash & Dry Your Hair

Wash your hair with regular shampoo and allow it to fully dry before collecting your sample.

Step 2:

Cut Hair Near the Scalp

Take hair from the back of the head near the nape of the neck, cutting from several small areas so it blends naturally.

Step 3:

Weigh Your Sample

Place the hair on the provided scale to ensure you have collected enough for testing.

Step 4:

Place Hair in the Envelope

Place the weighed hair sample into the collection envelope and seal it.
